The Newtown House Hotel
Found on Hayling Island on the South Coast of Hampshire, the Newtown House Hotel has been welcoming guests for over 60 years. It’s an ideal centre for a relaxing coastal holiday whilst exploring nearby attractions and maybe even taking part in some sporting activities.
The hotel is full of character and charm and was renovated from an 18th Century farm house. With its old ships beams, oak paneling and stone fireplaces alongside quality modern furnishings and fittings, the Newtown House Hotel is the perfect setting for any corporate or social occasion and weddings.

Great to get back into the old routine on DID, Denny and I are appreciative of the kind comments.
I was late hitting the circuit, just before we were due to leave home my next door neighbour popped in to say they were selling up, however, I still met the bulk of Manhood CCC coming the other way. At the Victoria Inn I stopped to assist a Morris traveller who had engine problems, fortunately another club member had stopped who knew a lot more than I did, so in the end I was very much tail end Charlie.
All being well our 1st evening meet will be on Wednesday 19th May 2001 at 7.30 pm at the Newtown Hotel, we are encouraging as many members as possible to turn up as a show of support for the Newtown who have been generous to our club in the past. On a more selfish note if the Newtown stopped trading our club would not have many options.
More positively we will be organising a BBQ in the coming weeks and another run out.
